MARQUISE HITCHCOCK (JMTW Apprentice) is an Honors Graduate of The Governor’s School for the Arts.  He studied at the Boston Conservatory, and will graduate from the Ailey/ Fordham University BFA in Dance Program in May 2018.  Marquise danced for Todd Rosenlieb Dance, Virginia Musical Theater Company, and Virginia Ballet Theater before relocating to New York to apprentice with the Black Iris Project and to further pursue his love of Musical Theater and Commercial Dance.  He received the 2013 Student Choreography Award at the Regional High School Dance Festival and in that same year was acknowledged as one of “Tidewater’s Top Talents to Watch” by the Virginian Pilot. He received the Professional Advancement Award in Dance provided by the prestigious School at Jacob’s Pillow in 2015, and is a standing headliner on Art Thru Muvmnt’s “National Dance Day East Coast Tour”. Marquise is also a nationally certified personal trainer.
